We invite you to the 14th annual UK-Africa summit focused on East Africa. Founded in 2010, UCUK has become a key player in promoting economic empowerment and sustainable development across East Africa. Initially centred on Uganda, the organisation has broadened its reach, establishing itself as an essential hub for international trade and cooperation in the region. In partnership with the East African Business Summit (EABS) and The India Overseas Trust (IOT), UCUK hosts the UK's premier business summit on East Africa. This summit is designed to enhance investments and expand exports by engaging specifically with target markets.

The summit is instrumental in strengthening the partnership between East Africa and the UK, contributing to shared economic prosperity.

Over the years, UCUK became a prime forum for business networking, knowledge sharing, and strategic partnership development, leading to significant socio-economic progress in East Africa. It has attracted key stakeholders, including innovators, investors, and government officials, dedicated to the region's prosperity.

The agenda of this year’s event, UK-EABS in partnership with UCUK and IOT, will likewise include high-level discussions, networking, and capacity-building workshops designed to encourage investment and collaborative growth.

UK-EABS aims to promote innovation, collaboration, and impactful partnerships. It aligns with the East African Community Vision 2050, targeting development in infrastructure, agriculture, and resource management, and invites stakeholders to contribute to East Africa's development.

UK-EABS stands as a testament to investments that offer financial returns and societal benefits, marking East Africa as an attractive destination for sustainable investments. The convention eagerly anticipates exploring opportunities in alignment with strategic goals.

Since its inception, the UCUK has evolved into a paramount forum for business networking, the exchange of knowledge, and the establishment of strategic partnerships, driving substantial socio-economic progress across East Africa. The convention annually attracts an illustrious array of stakeholders, ranging from pioneering innovators and astute investors to distinguished government officials, all united in their commitment to the prosperity of the region. Its comprehensive agenda includes high-level discussions, networking opportunities, and workshops aimed at enhancing trade capacity, all meticulously curated to foster investment and collaborative growth.
